Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 April 2026

These terms govern your use of the LinkedIn Co-Pilot Chrome extension and the website at linkedincopilot.app (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

LinkedIn Co-Pilot is a Chrome extension that drafts LinkedIn comment text using an AI provider of your choice. The extension reads post content on linkedin.com and sends it, along with your voice profile, to your selected AI provider's API using your own API key. The Service does not post, comment, or take any action on linkedin.com on your behalf — you copy and paste each draft manually.

2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

You must provide your own API key from a supported AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter). All charges from these providers are between you and them. We do not bill you for AI usage and have no visibility into your provider's billing.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

You are solely responsible for the content you copy and paste into LinkedIn. The Service drafts suggestions; you make the final editorial decision and bear full responsibility for what you publish.

4. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. In short: we don't operate a server, we don't collect your data, and your API keys never leave your browser except to your chosen AI provider.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of bugs, or that AI-generated drafts will be accurate, appropriate, or fit for any particular purpose. AI providers occasionally produce incorrect or biased output — review every draft carefully before posting.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author of LinkedIn Co-Pilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including damage to your LinkedIn account, lost professional opportunities, or reputational harm — arising from your use of the Service. Your use of LinkedIn through the Service is at your own risk.

7. Third-party services

The Service interacts with linkedin.com and your chosen AI provider. We are not affiliated with LinkedIn, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

8. Intellectual property

The LinkedIn Co-Pilot extension, source code, and brand assets are owned by Mahesh Dhiman. Drafts produced by the AI providers are content you generate using your own API key — you own them, subject to your provider's terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the extension from Chrome. We may discontinue the Service or refuse to provide it to anyone for any reason, with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
